Q:I have 2006 volvo s60 with HU-650. I also have an Ipod adapter plugged into the port for the CD changer and I don’t think that will be a problem as the paperwork with the adapter only mentions the loss of CD changer capability with the adaptor. Do you know if the amp will work in this configuration?
A: Yes, amplifier will work with your hu-650 and if it goes to the ipod adapter it has nothing to do with amplifier, it is totally separate function, I also have ipod adapter plugged into my hu-850. I have to tell you that since you are using ipod adapter anyway you should find any hu-850 and put it in together with amplifier, it is totally different quality of the sound since hu-850 has a dolby pro logic II as well as the 3 channel,
