Q :I saw your video for the yaw rate sensor, as well as, others to figure out why my service light came on, then my amp started misfiring and a buzz was coming from my speakers, I realized you might have been right. i listened closely and heard the dreaded sloshing sound of water under the passengers seat. All the foam around the wiring harness were soaked, and I vacuumed out about 1/2 gallon of water. the yaw rate was not wet however (moist but not wet) the amp was not wet but the harness were soaked. Airing them out and after drying with a hair dryer.
Besides yaw rate
(1) how do I get the water from collecting there again, can\’t find the drain.
(2) I have a 2007 AWD 3.2 will yours work with my car? Plan on buying it soon.
(3) had a vent blocking the current yaw rate, cannot seem to remove it may have to bend the bracket to get old out. any suggestions?
A:It is due to clogged sun roof drains, you need to clean it, and there is lots of info on it on any of the volvo forums, Yes both sensors will work in your xc90, the only difference is that one is newer design and other but both work in 03-13 volvo xc90 series, there is a pin that is holding the bracket to come off easily, just remove the 2 bolts and than pul the bracket upward and it will come out the pin need to bend a little in order for it to come loose,
