Q: I have a 2006 xc90 and the radio works, but the backup sensors do not, I have a backup sensor alert message and the left speaker fades in and out. Is this an ICM problem?

A: Usually then ICM fails back up sensors stop working, there is no sound, the best would be to just scan your car for faults and than you will be sure which part failed, please let me know the part number off your old ICM, it is behind the radio on the right side on the panel,
