Q: Hello, I have 2004 volvo s60 and my srs light came on, I was told that I need to replace the sensor but I don’t why it came on, could you please advice
A: Hello it looks like you had to do something to triggle the srs light, you probably removed the steering wheel or one of the front seats, that would make you light to turn on the dashboard, you don;t have to replace the air bag control module, all you have to do it reset it, it usually cost around $50
A: Yes, you are right I had to take the passenger seat out to pull up the carpet so it could dry out from a large water spill. We ran the car with the seat out for a couple of days while the carpet and foam dried, thank you for your help I will look for somebody local to reset my light,
