Q:I have a 2012 Volvo S60 and would like to do the upgrade to add navigation. When I called my dealer, I did not get a clear answer that my car was nav ready. They gave me a quote for $1600 of parts to add navigation. Is there a simple way to tell if my car is Nav ready? Can I know this by taking out the CD unit and looking for having the extra Nav cables? Is there another way to know if the car is Nav ready such that all I have to do is change out the DVD Nav unit?

A:It looks like you can have navigation because they gave you a quote for the parts, if your s60 wasn’t nav prep car there is no way to add navigation unless they quoted you for sensus connected touch,

easy way is to just remove the center console and slide out the cd player and you should have 2 extra plugs wrapped in the foam,
