Q:I have seen your name mentioned on a few forums now regarding volvo head unit parts and as such i was wondering if you would have a plug and play part for my car uk spec volvo s80 2012

i have bought an ex police car i believe and i think its not the original unit thats in it as it cuts out and causes the sensus screen to go blank and freeze up so i think this unit is stopping the optic signal someone else mentioned part no 36001114 but am sure with your expertise you will know better than me and can advise me best you can

A:It is difficult with this one, you would have to have it scanned because these don’t really have many problems unless somebody was doing something with it,
if they had other electronic equipment installed that could coz the system to have issues now, these are plug and play at most times so it should work fine, what you can do is to check all the connections because something might not be plugged in all the way, I would scan the system for faults and than go from there, if you need a display unit I do have these and if you need the media player I also have these but would need to be sure which one you need,
