Q: I have the dreaded issue of a dead ICM. I obviously need to replace it but would also like to add options for bluetooth and an iPod if possible. Do you offer any solutions for these types of add-ons or do you have any suggestions? If not then just let me know what info you need from me to make sure I order the correct unit.

A: Yes Im helping volvo owners every day to fix that ICM issue, if it goes to the iPod there is no cheap solution because of fiber optic cables, so if you want to pay around $400 for the kit I don’t recommend doing it, the best way to tell which ICM you need it would be to remove black triangle cover from the door and tell me what color is the label on the tweeter, blue or yellow, or perhaps you know if you have premium sound or high performance sound, please check and let me know and I will send you correct link,

please keep it in mind that sometimes it needs software download, I have had many cases that it worked right after it is plugged in but also that we had to exchange another ICM but thats why we always keep few in stock to exchange it for another one if the first one won’t be plug and play
