Q: I have 2001 volvo v70 T5 and I noticed that it gets poor gas mileage and also after driving friend of mine volvo v70 T5 I think there is something wrong with my cvar because his is much stronger and get better gas mileage, I took it to the dealer and it was scanned for codes and nothing comes up, it is pretty clean, do you have any idea what it could be?

A: Since there is no codes I would go with mass air flow sensor, I would recommend taking it out and cleaning with mass air flow meter cleaner which you may buy in Autozone or Murrays aut parts, if that won’t change anything just buy new one to be sure, this is very important sensor so you want to make sure that it is working properly.
