Q:I have a 6CD changer which is broken and have just removed it from my car. Your part number differs however from the one on the changer itself? My part number is 30775286-1 so whats the difference? I am happy to pay up to $150 so would you have anything for me? Im told to make this work without dealer intervention i have to open the box and remove the PCB and attach my own from the original car with the gold ribbon cables so that the car software doesnt need resetting? I live in France

A:For some reason in us there are not many changers with this part number but what I have done is getting this changer and swap the whole interior cassette, it is easy and you wont need any software download, so thats what you can do, the best I can do is 197 plus shipping on that changer, these are hard to get and I dont have many of it,
