I have a Volvo 850 and want to install a third seat. I purchased the third seat with installation parts off of ebay. The problem is that they did NOT include the plastic seat catch that holds the backrest in the upright position. I really need to get this part and install this seat for my kids. Do you know where I might be able to find one? I assume it is necessary to safely use the third seat correct?

I think the best place for to get that plastic catch is volvo dealer, it cost around $25, in order to install it you need to cut out a liner that is over the square hole, the best way is to lit the back seat and see which place the plastic which goes to that catch touch the rear seat and you will have to cut out that square and then insert the plastic.
