Q:I have a 2WD 2004 XC90 2.5T and the compatibility listing doesn’t differentiate if this is compatible with 2WD or 4WD. The defective unit i’m replacing is metal, but the description sounds like this an improved replacement for the metal one. I just want to make sure its compatible with 2WD XC90 2.5T also. Thanks,

A: I think there is no difference if it goes to awd or 2wd, this one comes off newer xc90 thats why it is improved,
is there any way you could send me a part number off your old one, I would make sure it would fit,
