Q:I have a 2012 Volvo s60 T5 and would like to add navigation. I have read the other posts where it talks about changing on the CD unit to a DVD nav unit. I asked the Volvo dealer and he quoted the touch screen version of navigation as a kit which was $750. I found instructions online about the factory 2012 nav on a Volvo s60 and it was not touchscreen. So is the touchscreen version a new version? The factory 2012 version seems a bit clumsy having to spin a knob to select letter by letter to enter an address. Do you have experience using the non touch screen 2012 factory version to know how easy it is to use? Are there any good aftermarket nav systems where the 7 inch screen can be replaced with a touch screen nav system and also show the volvo controls for radio, etc?

A:it looks like your car isn’t nav prep so they offered census connected touch, it is not possible to fit factory regular navigation since there is no harness for it, i don’t really recommend census touch because you still need to buy maps and these are not cheap

just get iPad mini and a mount than you are all set for around $300
